Directions
- Preheat oven to 350°F.
- Spray a donut pan with oil or non-stick spray and set aside.
- In a large bowl, combine dry ingredients: Carnation Breakfast Essentials® Nutritional Powder Drink Mix Rich Milk Chocolate, all purpose flour, whole wheat flour, baking powder, baking soda, cinnamon and salt. Whisk until combined.
- In a medium bowl, add mashed banana, egg, maple syrup, melted coconut oil, vanilla, and milk of choice. Whisk to combine.
- Fold the wet ingredients into dry ingredients until the batter forms.
- Place a gallon sized Ziploc bag into a cup and spoon batter into the bag. Snip off the corner of the bag and pipe batter into donut molds, filling ¾ full.
- Bake for 10 -12 minutes.
- Remove from oven and let the donuts cool on a wire rack.
- Prepare the glaze by whisking together powdered sugar, cocoa powder, milk, and vanilla in a small bowl.
- Once the donuts are cool, dip each donut in the chocolate glaze.
